Attack on Titan: A Slave of God

  • 46903 Sugarland Rd Sterling, VA 20164 USA (map)

"Everyone I've met was all the same... Everyone was a slave to something."

-Kenny Ackerman

Led by Imam Farhan Siddiqi, join us for a special event where we will use the hit anime and manga ATTACK ON TITAN as a focal point to discuss the true meaning of freedom in Islam.

Comprised of a lecture, Q&A, and discussion questions, we will look at how various characters in the show view freedom, what the Islamic definition of freedom is, and the deeper meaning behind being a Slave of God.

This event is open to all attendees ages 16+.  All are welcome whether you are a fan of anime or are simply interested in the topic.  Familiarity with Attack on Titan is recommended but not necessary as this talk may contain heavy spoilers for the series.

You never know where wisdom comes from, so dedicate your hearts, grab a ticket, and please donate if you'd like to see more events like this in the future!  Just as Armin couldn’t wait to see the Ocean, we can’t wait to see you this weekend!
