Ceremony Coffee
When finding a coffee roaster to partner with, the weight of the decision was heavy. We spent time touring roasters in the DMV, tasting their coffee and meeting their teams. When we met Ceremony, the weight was lifted due to their commitment to not only an exceptional roast, but superior education of their employees and partners. All Qahwa employees and volunteers have access to classes and seminars at Ceremony anytime they want to enhance their craft. A little history about Ceremony and their philosophy is below.

With producers and importing partners all over the world, we source super-fresh, super-clean, 85+ point coffees with loads of sweetness and character. Then our roasting team gets to work on a tireless pursuit to develop roast profiles and blend ratios that highlight the best of every coffee.”
Zaynab’s Cookies
“Zaynab’s cookies is a local family-run bakery specializing in gourmet American-style cookies. All our cookies are made with a beautiful brown butter base making the flavor-what we like to say-memorable. We source fresh, strictly halal ingredients, and make all batches to order. We love fun flavors like S’mores Lovers, Happy Birthday, and Snickerdoodle, along with classics like our Signature Chocolate Chip. We are passionate about our cookies and bringing smiles all around!“
Mozaic Kitchen
Our partnership with Mozaic Kitchen felt like a no brainer, the synergy between the ethos and the mission of our organizations is the perfect match. We are proud to serve many savory and sweet snacks from the local refugee kitchen. Check out and learn more about Mozaic below:
“Mozaic founded in order to create new opportunities for refugees and immigrants in the DMV area. Many refugees and immigrants face financial hardships in addition to cultural, educational, and language barriers but they maintain great culinary skills that help them prepare delicious authentic food seeing as many of them were professional chefs in the past.
Mozaic has created SafarTas in order to help recruit these chefs and identify a market for their special recipes. We decided to establish the kitchen in the state of Virginia in order to recruit these chefs and help connect them to the open market while facilitating the opportunity for everyone to enjoy real authentic rich food.”
