Pain is our constant companion, felt from our very first moment of life until our very last moments in death. But what is the purpose of this pain, both physical and mental? How can we continue to live our lives in spite of the pain? And how can we use this pain to bring use closer to Allah and transform ourselves into better Muslims?
Comprise of a lecture and discussion circles, the event starts at 8:30. One ticket covers all 3 weeks. Donations are greatly appricated and help us fund future events! Open to young professionals ages 21+

About Omar Khan
Omar Khan is currently the Youth Director at Adams Center have previously served as Director of Partner Development and Outreach at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research. Prior to this role, Omar served as the CFO at AlMaghrib Institute from March 2013 to July 2019. With a background in accounting, Omar has also held positions such as Operations Manager at ReturnMe - Global Recovery Service and Accountant at New-Global and Pratt & Whitney.
Omar earned their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Concordia University in 2010, following a D.E.C. in Commerce from Vanier College in 2006. During the early stages of their career, Omar worked as a Salesman at MuslimGear from January 2002 to August 2005.
